DWA Industrial Resources was established in 1996 by Paul Bickerton. Since then, the business has grown with the mining industry in the NorthWest including a fully equipped engineering workshop in Derby, and the opening of the Perth engineering workshop early 2012. It employs a number of different trades to provide services, including mine maintenance, mine construction, electrical, logistics, transporting goods, engineering, aluminium fabrication, abrasive blasting, industrial coatings, belt splicing & rubber lining, equipment repairs and radiator repairs. The company also hires out equipment to the mine companies on a daily basis such as mine inspected 4WD vehicles, Franna cranes, hiab trucks, mobile workshops, diesel welding units and hot belt splicing presses. DWA has established a Drill Bit Refurbishment Training program in place for Traditional Land Owners. This has created further depth to the commitment DWA makes in offering Training and Employment for Indigenous residents.
